Galatians 5:22-23

Peace is difficult in today's "relative" world.  What does having peace with God and others mean?  How do we have peace?  There is only one peace that works and that peace comes from the Lord.

Peace is not the Absence of Conflict

• Proverbs 29:17 

"Discipline your son, and he will give you peace; he will bring delight to your soul."

• Ephecians 6:10-18

• Colossians 1:19-20

Peace is the Presence of God

• Ephesians 2:14-18

• John 16:33

• Isaiah 9:6

Peace come from doing the right thing

• Psalm 119:165

• Isaish 48:17-18

• Isaiah 32:17

Two questions to ask about peace:

How do i have peace with God?

How do i have peace with others?

1.Set up a time to deal with the issues

• Romans 12:18

• Romans 14:19

2. Listen to them

• 1 Peter 3:8-9

3. Confront the problems not the person

• 2 Corinthians 5:18

You cannot have true peace with Others without first have peace with God

2. Believe

• John 3:16

3. Confess

• Philippians 4:4-7
